Mission: Milledgeville Pickleball Club (MPC) is a registered, 501-c-3 nonprofit sports organization serving Milledgeville, Baldwin County, and Lake Country. We promote healthy lifestyles by growing pickleball in the community.

Goals

• Increase the quantity, quality, and variety of pickleball opportunities, including practice, friendly games, events, and tournaments.
• Invest in the community pickleball infrastructure.
• Provide skill development for every level of play.
• Integrate pickleball into the lifestyle and economic fabric of the community.

Over the last four years, the Milledgeville Pickleball Club and its members have provided free skills clinics, equipment, leagues, facility upgrades, and community activities. Pickleball is currently enjoyed by Milledgevillers of all ages and skill levels, and the numbers are rapidly growing. Pickleball welcomes beginners but is still challenging, even for advanced players. Whatever your level of play, you can join a round of pick-up games, have fun, and meet new people.

Families and individuals are taking up the sport in record numbers. If you have driven by, you know the lights are on, and our existing 12 courts are almost always full! Baldwin County’s recent investment in 20 new lighted courts speaks to pickleball’s popularity and growth in our community. The new facility will be the second largest in Georgia!

MPC is nearly done with preparations to celebrate the grand opening. We will host an official ribbon-cutting event, a week of community pickleball festivities, concluding with a competitive tournament from May 16th to 18th. The tournament will bring hundreds of players from Lake Country, Georgia, and the Southeast.

We are seeking sponsorships for our Grand Opening Event. Your support can make a significant difference in helping us facilitate the continued growth of Pickleball in the local community. We will recognize all sponsors during our celebration and greatly appreciate any contribution or donation.
